  • 500 g Suji
  • 500 g Sugar
  • 200 ml Ghee
  • 20 g Cardamom Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, crumble the fresh paneer (cottage cheese) and knead it gently until smooth and lump-free.
  2. 2. Add semolina, sugar, and cardamom powder to the paneer. Mix thoroughly until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is uniform.
  3. 3. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking pan with ghee to prevent sticking.
  4. 4. Pour the paneer mixture into the greased baking pan, spreading it evenly. Tap the pan gently to remove air bubbles.
  5. 5. Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until the top turns golden brown and caramelized.
  6. 6. Remove the chhenapoda from the oven and let it cool for 10-15 minutes. Carefully invert onto a serving plate and slice into pieces.
