A delightful baked dish combining tender spiced apples with a crisp, cheesy topping, perfect for a comforting Jain-friendly dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 Pieces Daily Apple
- 250 ml Dabur Hommade Lemon Juice (Bottle)
- 45 g On1Y Cinnamon Powder
- 1 kg Supreme Harvest Iodized Salt
- 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)
- 750 ml Catch Clear Lemon N Lime Flavoured Water
- 500 ml Conscious Food Cold Pressed Coconut Oil
- 300 g Nutty Yogi Almond Flour (With Skin)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish lightly with butter.
- 2. Core and slice 4 apples into thin wedges and arrange them evenly in the greased baking dish.
- 3. Sprinkle 1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice over the apples and add 1 tablespoon of water to the dish.
- 4. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, 2/3 cup of almond flour, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
- 5. Add 1/3 cup of softened coconut oil to the dry mixture and work it in with your fingers or a fork until it forms a crumbly texture.
- 6. Mix the crumbly mixture until evenly distributed.
- 7. Spread the crumb mixture evenly over the apples in the baking dish.
- 8. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden and crisp.
- 9. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving warm.
