Ingredients

  • 250 g Carrot
  • - Dairy Milk
  • 500 g Sugar
  • 100 g Kaju Kani
  • 100 g Almonds
  • 0.25 g Saffron
  • 35g Delight Nuts Pistachios Roasted Salted 35g
  • 100g Good Life Yellow Kishmish 100 G
  • 20 g Cardamom Powder
  • 200 ml Ghee

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat the ghee in a large, heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat. Add the grated carrots and sauté for 8-10 minutes until the raw smell disappears and the carrots soften.
  2. 2. Pour the milk into the pan and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the milk reduces and thickens, about 25-30 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the sugar and ground cardamom to the pan. Mix well and continue cooking on low heat while stirring frequently until the mixture thickens further, about 10 minutes.
  4. 4. In a separate small pan, lightly toast the cashews, almonds, and raisins in a teaspoon of ghee until golden and fragrant. Add these to the halwa mixture and stir to combine.
  5. 5. Garnish with saffron strands and pistachios if desired. Serve warm or at room temperature as a comforting dessert.
