Ingredients
- 250 g Carrot
- - Dairy Milk
- 500 g Sugar
- 100 g Kaju Kani
- 100 g Almonds
- 0.25 g Saffron
- 35g Delight Nuts Pistachios Roasted Salted 35g
- 100g Good Life Yellow Kishmish 100 G
- 20 g Cardamom Powder
- 200 ml Ghee
Instructions
- 1. Heat the ghee in a large, heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat. Add the grated carrots and sauté for 8-10 minutes until the raw smell disappears and the carrots soften.
- 2. Pour the milk into the pan and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the milk reduces and thickens, about 25-30 minutes.
- 3. Add the sugar and ground cardamom to the pan. Mix well and continue cooking on low heat while stirring frequently until the mixture thickens further, about 10 minutes.
- 4. In a separate small pan, lightly toast the cashews, almonds, and raisins in a teaspoon of ghee until golden and fragrant. Add these to the halwa mixture and stir to combine.
- 5. Garnish with saffron strands and pistachios if desired. Serve warm or at room temperature as a comforting dessert.
