Ingredients
- 1 kg Potato - New Crop (Aloo)
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 250 ml Real Cheers Ginger Ale Cocktail Mix
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder
- 180 g Devavo Dijon Mustard Sauce (Classic French)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2. Peel and thinly slice 7 medium potatoes and 2 onions. Layer them evenly in a baking dish and sprinkle with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper.
- 3. Spread 2 tbsp Dijon mustard evenly over the potato and onion layers.
- 4. Ensure the mustard-coated potato and onion layers are evenly distributed in the baking dish.
- 5. Pour 1 cup of ginger ale into the baking dish, ensuring it surrounds the potatoes and onions.
- 6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour, or until the potatoes are tender.
- 7. Remove the foil during the last 10 minutes of baking to allow the top layer to brown slightly.
- 8. Serve hot, optionally paired with a fresh garden salad for a complete meal.
