Ingredients

  • 1 l Homogenised Toned Milk
  • 100 g Almonds
  • 500G Madhur Sugar
  • Loose Cardamom
  • Pcs Saffron

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak 1/2 cup of almonds in water overnight or for at least 4-6 hours.
  2. 2. Peel the soaked almonds by gently pressing them between your fingers. Discard the skins.
  3. 3. In a blender, add the peeled almonds, 2 cups of milk, and 2 tbsp of sugar. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. 4. Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a pot to remove any almond pulp.
  5. 5. Heat the strained almond milk on medium flame, stirring occasionally. Do not boil; heat until warm.
  6. 6. Add 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder and mix well. Turn off the heat.
  7. 7. Pour the almond milk into serving glasses. Garnish with 1 tsp of chopped pistachios or almonds and serve warm or chilled.
