- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 200 g Orange Carrot (Gajar)
- 500 g X 2 Organically Grown Potato Combo
- 100 g Celery Stalk
- 500 g Weikfield Cornstarch Amazingly Versatile Gluten Free
- 500 ml Oleev Extra Light Olive Oil
- 100 g Catch Sprinklers - Iodized Table Salt
- 100 g Aashirvaad Whole Black Pepper /Kali Mirch
- 900 G Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Dark Soy Sauce
- 50 g Minitz Garam Masala
Instructions
- 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil. Add the peeled sambar onions and cook until they start to caramelize, about 5-7 minutes.
- 2. Add 1 chopped onion, 2 chopped carrots, 2 chopped potatoes, and 1 chopped celery stalk to the pot. Stir and cook for 5 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.
- 3. In a small bowl, dissolve 1 tablespoon of cornstarch in 1 cup of cold water. Pour this mixture into the pot and stir well.
- 4. Add 1 teaspoon of salt, a dash of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, and 1 teaspoon of garam masala. Mix thoroughly and bring the stew to a boil.
- 5. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let the stew simmer for 45-50 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender and the flavors are well combined.
- 6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot with steamed rice or flatbread for a complete meal.
