Asian-Style Beef and Wild Rice Bake recipe

Ingredients

  • 500 ml Oleev Extra Light Olive Oil
  • 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
  • 1 Pack Button Mushroom (Anabe)
  • 1 kg Whole Farm Premium Brown Rice
  • 250 ml Coco Mama Coconut Milk
  • 900 G Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Dark Soy Sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook 1 cup of long grain wild rice according to the package instructions and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add 1 finely chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. 3. Add 1 cup of sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Stir in 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, the cooked rice, and 1/4 cup of coconut milk. Mix well to combine.
  5. 5. Add 1/4 cup of coconut milk to the mixture for creaminess. Stir thoroughly until evenly combined.
  6. 6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. Spread it out evenly.
  7. 7. Optionally, top with 1/2 cup of slivered almonds for added crunch.
  8. 8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 1 hour, until the top is golden and the casserole is heated through.
