Ingredients

- - Zaatar
- 25G Sur Dry Yeast
- 500G Surya Rice Flour
- - Sumac Powder
- 200 g Table Salt
- 500 g Wheat Flour / Maida
- 500 ml Water
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of fortune maida, 2 teaspoons of Keya Table Salt, and 1 tablespoon of rice flour.
- 2. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil (Figaro) into the mixture and stir well.
- 3. Slowly add water, a little at a time, while kneading the mixture to form a soft and smooth dough.
- 4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- 5. After resting, divide the dough into equal-sized balls.
- 6. Roll each dough ball into a thin circle using a rolling pin.
- 7. Sprinkle a mixture of 1 teaspoon of sumac and 1 teaspoon of zaatar evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- 8. Fold the dough into a semi-circle and roll it again gently to seal the spices inside.
- 9. Heat a non-stick tawa or skillet over medium heat and place the paratha on it.
- 10. Cook until bubbles form and golden spots appear on one side, then flip and cook the other side, brushing with a little olive oil if desired.
- 11. Repeat the rolling and cooking process for each paratha.
- 12. Serve the Arabic Parathas hot with your choice of dip or stuffing.
