- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- loose Ginger
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 1 kg Potato
- - Besan
- - Cumin Seed
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- Pcs Ajwain 50g
- 500 Ml Champion Oil
- 10G Salt
Instructions
- 1. Boil the potatoes until soft, then peel and mash them in a large bowl.
- 2. Add finely chopped green chilies, grated ginger, a pinch of ajwain, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and garam masala to the mashed potatoes. Mix well.
- 3. Add a pinch of cooking soda to the mixture and mix thoroughly to combine all the spices with the potato mash.
- 4. In a separate bowl, prepare the batter by mixing besan flour with water to achieve a smooth, thick consistency.
- 5. Heat cooking oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- 6. Shape the spiced potato mixture into small round patties.
- 7. Dip each potato patty into the besan batter, ensuring it's completely coated.
- 8. Carefully place the coated patties into the hot oil and deep fry until golden brown and crispy.
- 9. Remove the fried aloo chops with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
