Ingredients
- - Besan
- 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- 250 g Spinach
- 100 g Hing Khoda
- - Chaat Masala
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, coriander powder, chaat masala, hing, and salt. Mix well.
- 2. Add the chopped cabbage, bell peppers, spinach, and green chili to the dry mixture. Stir to coat the vegetables evenly.
- 3. Gradually add lemon juice and mix until a thick batter forms. Ensure the batter is not runny but sticks well to the vegetables.
- 4. Add baking soda to the batter and mix thoroughly to create a light and fluffy texture.
- 5. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C for 5 minutes. Lightly grease the air fryer basket with an oil spray.
- 6. Scoop small portions of the batter and shape them into fritters. Place them in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
- 7. Air fry the pakoras at 180°C for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they turn golden brown and crisp.
- 8. Remove the pakoras from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving. Serve them hot with green chutney or ketchup.
