Ingredients

  • - Besan
  • 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 250 g Spinach
  • 100 g Hing Khoda
  • - Chaat Masala
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, coriander powder, chaat masala, hing, and salt. Mix well.
  2. 2. Add the chopped cabbage, bell peppers, spinach, and green chili to the dry mixture. Stir to coat the vegetables evenly.
  3. 3. Gradually add lemon juice and mix until a thick batter forms. Ensure the batter is not runny but sticks well to the vegetables.
  4. 4. Add baking soda to the batter and mix thoroughly to create a light and fluffy texture.
  5. 5. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C for 5 minutes. Lightly grease the air fryer basket with an oil spray.
  6. 6. Scoop small portions of the batter and shape them into fritters. Place them in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  7. 7. Air fry the pakoras at 180°C for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they turn golden brown and crisp.
  8. 8. Remove the pakoras from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving. Serve them hot with green chutney or ketchup.
