Ingredients

  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 100 g Garlic
  • 500 g Onion
  • 1 pack Mushrooms Button
  • - Bell Peppers
  • 200 g Organic Tofu - Soy Paneer
  • - Peppercorn
  • 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
  • 200 g Table Salt
  • 190 ml White Cooking Vinegar
  • - Bay Leaf
  • 500 Ml Champion Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add 1 cup of cubed tofu and sauté until golden brown on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same pan, add 1 sliced onion and 4 minced garlic cloves. Sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Add 1 cup of sliced mushrooms and 1 sliced bell pepper. Cook for another 3 minutes until softened.
  5. 5. Return the tofu to the pan and add 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of vinegar, 1 cup of water, 2 bay leaves, and 1 teaspoon of black peppercorns. Stir well.
  6. 6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. 7. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt if needed. Remove the bay leaves before serving.
  8. 8. Serve hot with steamed rice.
