Ingredients
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 100 g Garlic
- 500 g Onion
- 1 pack Mushrooms Button
- - Bell Peppers
- 200 g Organic Tofu - Soy Paneer
- - Peppercorn
- 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
- 200 g Table Salt
- 190 ml White Cooking Vinegar
- - Bay Leaf
- 500 Ml Champion Oil
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- 2. Add 1 cup of cubed tofu and sauté until golden brown on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- 3. In the same pan, add 1 sliced onion and 4 minced garlic cloves. Sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- 4. Add 1 cup of sliced mushrooms and 1 sliced bell pepper. Cook for another 3 minutes until softened.
- 5. Return the tofu to the pan and add 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of vinegar, 1 cup of water, 2 bay leaves, and 1 teaspoon of black peppercorns. Stir well.
- 6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 7. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt if needed. Remove the bay leaves before serving.
- 8. Serve hot with steamed rice.
