Ingredients

  • 200 ml Coconut Milk
  • 500 g Jaggery
  • - Tata Sampann 100% Pure Premium Cashews Whole Premium Quality Kaju Rich In Protein, Magnesium, And Phosphorus
  • 100 Ml Govind Ghee
  • - Green Cardamom Powder
  • - Ginger Powder
  • 1 kg Basmati Rice

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and soak 1/2 cup rice ada (flat rice flakes) in warm water for 20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat 1 cup of thin coconut milk on medium flame. Add the soaked ada and cook until soft and well-cooked, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  3. 3. In another pan, melt 2 tbsp of jaggery in 1/4 cup water on low flame. Strain the melted jaggery to remove impurities and add it to the cooked ada.
  4. 4. Mix well and continue cooking until the jaggery is fully incorporated and the mixture thickens slightly.
  5. 5. Add 1 cup of thick coconut milk to the ada mixture and stir well. Simmer on low flame for 5 minutes, ensuring it does not boil to prevent curdling.
  6. 6. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a small pan. Fry 2 tbsp cashews and 1 tbsp raisins until golden. Add them to the pradhaman along with 1/4 tsp cardamom powder and a pinch of dry ginger powder.
  7. 7. Stir everything together and let the flavors meld for 2-3 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
