- 200 g Itc Master Chef Medium Prawns Peeled & Deveined (Frozen)
- 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
- 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the prawns thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. In a bowl, marinate the prawns with turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt for 10 minutes.
- 3. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds, allowing them to sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 4. Add ginger garlic paste to the pan and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- 5. Stir in the marinated prawns and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally to coat them in the spices.
- 6. Wash and cook the rice in a pot with 500 ml of water and a pinch of salt until tender, about 12-15 minutes.
- 7. Drain the rice and mix in freshly chopped cilantro, ensuring it is evenly distributed.
- 8. Serve the prawns hot over the cilantro-infused rice, garnished with extra cilantro if desired.
