- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- - Baby Tomatoes
- 125 ml Flavoured Yogurt Drink - Mango
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100G Biryani Masala (100g)
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak basmati rice in water for 30 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- 2. Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan and sauté finely sliced onions until golden brown.
- 3. Add ginger-garlic paste along with chopped green chilies, stirring until aromatic.
- 4. Mix in chopped tomatoes and cook until softened, forming a rich base.
- 5. Add mutton kheema and cook on medium heat until browned and well combined.
- 6. Stir in yogurt, biryani masala, turmeric, and salt, cooking until the flavors meld together.
- 7. Layer the drained rice over the kheema mixture evenly without stirring.
- 8. Sprinkle chopped coriander and mint leaves over the rice for added freshness.
- 9. Pour water gently over the rice layer, ensuring it covers the rice completely.
- 10. Cover the pan with a tight lid and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
- 11. Turn off the heat and let the biryani rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- 12. Fluff the rice gently with a fork to mix layers and serve hot.
