Ingredients
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- - Baby Tomatoes
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100G Oleo
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 20 minutes.
- 2. Heat half the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them sizzle for a few seconds.
- 3. Drain the rice and add it to the pan with water and a pinch of salt. Cook until fully done.
- 4. Heat the remaining oil in another pan and sauté finely chopped onions until golden brown.
- 5. Add minced garlic, ginger, and green chilies, and cook until fragrant.
- 6. Stir in chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and release oil.
- 7. Add mutton keema and mix well, breaking up any lumps with a spoon.
- 8. Season the keema with turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder, and garam masala.
- 9. Cook the keema on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked and aromatic.
- 10. Garnish the keema with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
- 11. Serve the hot mutton keema alongside the fragrant jeera rice.
