- - DELI QUINOA/BASMATI RICE 1KG
- 1 pack (200 g) Godrej Real Good Medium Prawns Peeled & Deveined (Freshly Frozen)
- 100 g Lemon
- - Bell Peppers
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 200 g Paneer
- - Green Chutney
- 200 g Table Salt
- 500 g Wheat Flour / Maida
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 500 Ml Champion Oil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the prawns under cold water and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. In a bowl, mix lemon juice, minced garlic, ginger powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, black pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon salt to prepare the marinade.
- 3. Add the prawns to the marinade and ensure they are evenly coated. Let them marinate for 15 minutes.
- 4. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then soak it in water for 10 minutes.
- 5. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan, add cloves, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, and bay leaf. Sauté until aromatic.
- 6. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan with the spices. Stir gently to coat the rice with the oil and spices.
- 7. Add 300 ml of water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the pan. Cover and cook on low heat until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed, about 15 minutes.
- 8. While the rice cooks, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a grill pan or air fryer.
- 9. Place the marinated prawns in the grill pan or air fryer and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are pink and slightly charred.
- 10. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it gently with a fork and remove the whole spices if desired.
- 11. Serve the grilled prawns on a bed of the fragrant rice pilaf, garnished with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
