Ingredients

  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • - DELI QUINOA/BASMATI RICE 1KG
  • 250 g Tendercuts Basa Boneless Fillet F&S
  • 100 g Lemon
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • - Rock Salt
  • - KATDARE BLACK PEPPER POWDER 12GM
  • 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
  • 1 Bunch Mint Leaves (Pudina)
  • medium Chilli Green Long

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the fish fillets thoroughly under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix lemon juice, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper powder to create a marinade.
  3. 3. Coat the fish fillets evenly with the marinade and let them rest for 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  4. 4. Meanwhile, wash the rice under running water until clear and set aside to drain.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a pan and lightly fry cumin seeds until aromatic, then add minced garlic and sauté until golden brown.
  6. 6. Add rice to the pan, mix well with the garlic, and pour in water along with rock salt. Cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes until the rice is fluffy.
