- - DELI QUINOA/BASMATI RICE 1KG
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 100 g Lemon
- 250 g Tendercuts Basa Boneless Fillet F&S
- 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- - Rock Salt
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- - Onion-250 Gms
- - KATDARE BLACK PEPPER POWDER 12GM
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the fish fillets under running water and pat them dry with a clean towel.
- 2. Marinate the fish with lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, chili powder, and rock salt for 15 minutes.
- 3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 4. Thinly slice the onion and sauté it in the pan until golden brown and aromatic.
- 5. Gently place the marinated fish fillets into the pan and sear on medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side.
- 6. Add black pepper powder and a splash of water to create a light sauce; simmer for 5 minutes.
- 7. In a separate pot, rinse the rice thoroughly and boil it with 250 ml water and a pinch of rock salt.
- 8. Once the rice is cooked and fluffy, toss in freshly chopped coriander leaves and mix gently.
