Ingredients

  • 1 pack (250 g) Venkys Chicken Kheema
  • 1 kg Rice
  • - Onion-250 Gms
  • 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
  • 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 100 g Catch Super Garam Masala
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
  • 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and soak the rice in water for 20 minutes before cooking.
  2. 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and add cumin seeds; let them sizzle for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add the soaked rice and 300 ml of water to the pan, season with salt, and cook until the rice is fluffy.
  4. 4. In another pan, heat the remaining oil and sauté finely chopped onions until golden brown.
  5. 5. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies to the onions; stir for 1 minute until aromatic.
  6. 6. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and the oil starts to separate.
  7. 7. Mix turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala into the tomato-onion mixture.
  8. 8. Add chicken mince to the pan and cook on medium heat, breaking up lumps, until fully browned.
  9. 9. Pour 50 ml of water into the keema and simmer for 10 minutes to blend the flavors.
  10. 10. Garnish the chicken keema with freshly chopped coriander leaves and turn off the heat.
