A rich and flavorful vegetarian sauce made with mushrooms, green peppers, and marsala wine, perfect for pairing with pasta or roasted vegetables for a satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 250 g Organically Grown Green Capsicum
- 200 g Mushroom Button
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 100 g Amul Butter Chiplets
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Paste
Instructions
- 1. Melt 1 stick of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- 2. Add 1 diced onion, 3 diced green peppers, and 1 cup of sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- 3. Stir in 2 cloves of minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute, ensuring the garlic is fragrant but not burnt.
- 4. Add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and 1/4 cup of water to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
- 5. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Do not overcook the vegetables.
- 6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve the sauce hot over pasta, roasted vegetables, or as a topping for vegetarian protein options like tofu or tempeh.
