Ingredients

  • 1 pack (1 kg) Daily Good Lachkari Kolam Raw Rice
  • 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
  • 1 Pack Button Mushroom (Anabe)
  • 500 ml Oleev Extra Light Olive Oil
  • 250 ml Coco Mama Coconut Milk
  • 200 g Hydroponic Sweet Bell Pepper (Cocktail)
  • 900 G Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Dark Soy Sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. In a skillet, sauté 1 diced sambar onion in 1 tablespoon of oil until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of raw rice, 1 cup of coconut milk, the sautéed onion, and 1 cup of sliced mushrooms.
  4. 4. Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and mix well.
  5. 5. Transfer the mixture to a covered baking dish and stir in 1 cup of diced sweet bell pepper.
  6. 6. Add 4 cups of water to the baking dish and mix thoroughly.
  7. 7. Bake the dish in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, stirring every 30 minutes to ensure even cooking.
  8. 8. Check the rice for doneness and add more water if needed to finish cooking.
  9. 9. Serve hot as a comforting dinner option.
