Ingredients
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 1 kg Jackfruit
- Pcs Everest Shahi Biryani Masala 10gm
- 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse and soak 2 cups of Daawat Rozana Super Basmati Rice in water for about 30 minutes.
- 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of Figaro Pure Olive Oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- 3. Add 1 thinly sliced brown onion and sauté until golden brown.
- 4. Stir in 1 tablespoon of Smith & Jones Ginger Garlic Paste and cook for 2 more minutes.
- 5. Add 1 chopped hybrid tomato and 1 sliced green chilli to the pot, cooking until the tomatoes are soft.
- 6. Mix in 1 teaspoon of Everest Turmeric Powder and 2 tablespoons of Everest Masala - Shahi Biryani.
- 7. Add 200g of jackfruit, stirring well to coat in spices. Cook for 5 minutes.
- 8. Drain the rice and add it to the pot with 4 cups of water. Cover and cook until the rice is fluffy and tender.
- 9. Stir in a handful of chopped coriander and mint leaves before serving.
- 10. Serve the Vegan Jackfruit Biryani hot, garnished with additional mint and coriander if desired.
