Ingredients
- 200 g Cauliflower Florets
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 100 g X 3 Mtr Turmeric Powder | Arisina Pudi Combo
- 1 pc (52 g) On1Y Paprika Powder
- 850 g Oleev Smart Vitafit Edibale Vegetable Oil
- 1 pack (500 g) Popular Essentials Regular Maida Flour
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add 500 g of cauliflower florets and cook until tender but not overly soft, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of maida, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, and 1/2 tsp paprika. Gradually add water while stirring until a smooth, thick batter forms.
- 3. Break the cooked cauliflower into small, bite-sized pieces.
- 4. Heat a frying pan with enough vegetable oil to shallow fry over medium heat.
- 5. Dip each cauliflower piece into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated, and carefully place it into the hot oil. Fry in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- 6. Remove the fritters from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 7. Serve the fritters warm with your favorite dipping sauce or a side salad.
