Ingredients

  • 25G Fisherman'S Friend Sugar Free Mouth Freshener - Lemon (25g)
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 200 ml Coconut Milk
  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 100G Oleo
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Salt
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the fish fillets and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. 2. Marinate the fish with turmeric, chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt; let it rest for 10 minutes.
  3. 3. Rinse the basmati rice and soak it in water for 15 minutes.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds; let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  5. 5. Add the marinated fish to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and slightly crisp.
  6. 6. Boil water in a pot, add soaked rice, and cook until 80% done; drain the excess water.
  7. 7. In another pan, heat coconut milk and add partially cooked rice; simmer until the rice absorbs the milk.
  8. 8. Adjust salt in the rice and garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  9. 9. Squeeze lemon juice over the fish and garnish with sliced green chilies.
  10. 10. Plate the coconut rice alongside the turmeric fish; serve warm and enjoy.
