Ingredients
- 25G Fisherman'S Friend Sugar Free Mouth Freshener - Lemon (25g)
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 200 ml Coconut Milk
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 100G Oleo
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
- - Coriander Powder
- 250g Green Chilli
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the fish fillets and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- 2. Marinate the fish with turmeric, chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt; let it rest for 10 minutes.
- 3. Rinse the basmati rice and soak it in water for 15 minutes.
- 4. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds; let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- 5. Add the marinated fish to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and slightly crisp.
- 6. Boil water in a pot, add soaked rice, and cook until 80% done; drain the excess water.
- 7. In another pan, heat coconut milk and add partially cooked rice; simmer until the rice absorbs the milk.
- 8. Adjust salt in the rice and garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
- 9. Squeeze lemon juice over the fish and garnish with sliced green chilies.
- 10. Plate the coconut rice alongside the turmeric fish; serve warm and enjoy.
