Ingredients
- 50 g Basil
- 400 g Pastazara Finely Chopped Tomatoes
- 100 g Mother Dairy Salted Butter
- 70 g Namakwali Authentic Mix Seasoning Flavoured Salt
- 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Black Pepper Whole
Instructions
- 1. In a heavy cast iron frying pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over low heat.
- 2. Cut 4 tomatoes in half and season them with salt, black pepper for added aroma.
- 3. Place the tomatoes cut side down in the pan and cook for about 10 minutes, allowing the butter to foam and turn light brown. If the butter starts to darken, reduce the heat.
- 4. Flip the tomatoes over and add 2 tablespoons of butter to the pan. Stir gently to combine and let it heat for 2 minutes.
- 5. Add 1/4 cup of chopped fresh basil to the pan and stir well. Adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
- 6. Serve the dish warm as a delightful dinner option.
