Ingredients
- - Besan
- 125 ml Flavoured Yogurt Drink - Mango
- - Red Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100 g Salt
- - Coriander Powder
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Jeera
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Cut the tofu into cubes of equal size and pat them dry to remove excess moisture.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together yogurt, besan, ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt.
- 3. Add tofu cubes to the marinade and gently toss to coat them evenly. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- 4. Thread the marinated tofu onto skewers, ensuring they are well spaced for even cooking.
- 5. Heat a grill pan or tawa with vegetable oil and place the skewers on it. Cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until golden and slightly charred.
- 6. While the tofu cooks, blend mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chili, cumin seeds, salt, and water to make a smooth dip.
- 7. Taste the dip and adjust salt or spice according to your preference.
- 8. Arrange the cooked tofu tikka on a serving platter with the mint-coriander dip on the side.
- 9. Garnish with a sprinkle of chaat masala and serve hot for a delightful dinner experience.
