A hearty and nutritious bowl combining protein-rich tofu, fiber-packed spinach, and fluffy millet infused with Indian spices.
Ingredients
- 500 Grms Bajra Atta Millets Atta 500 Grms
- 500 g Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Garlic
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the millet thoroughly and soak it in water for 10 minutes.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds; let them splutter for 30 seconds.
- 3. Finely chop onion, garlic, and ginger, and sauté them in the pan until golden brown.
- 4. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt; cook until the tomatoes soften.
- 5. Add spinach leaves to the pan and cook for 3 minutes until wilted.
- 6. Cut tofu into cubes and gently stir it into the spinach mixture; cook for 5 minutes.
- 7. Drain the millet and add it to the pan along with 250 ml of water.
- 8. Cover the pan and cook on low heat until the millet absorbs the water and becomes fluffy, about 15 minutes.
- 9. Stir everything well and adjust seasoning if needed before serving.
