Ingredients
- - Fresh Tofu
- 250 g Spinach
- 500 g Wheat Flour / Maida
- 250g Green Chilli
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse and chop the spinach finely, ensuring there are no stems in the mix.
- 2. Crumble the tofu into small pieces and set aside in a bowl.
- 3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and sauté the spinach for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
- 4. Add the crumbled tofu to the pan along with cumin powder, coriander powder, chopped green chilies, and salt. Stir well for 3 minutes.
- 5. Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool slightly before proceeding.
- 6. In a separate bowl, prepare the dough by mixing whole wheat flour with water and a pinch of salt. Knead until smooth and pliable.
- 7. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a small ball.
- 8. Flatten each ball to form a small disc and place a spoonful of the tofu-spinach mixture at the center.
- 9. Fold the edges of the dough to seal the filling, then gently roll it into a paratha using a rolling pin.
- 10. Heat a skillet and cook each paratha for 2-3 minutes on each side, brushing with oil as needed for a golden crust.
- 11. Repeat the process with the remaining dough and filling to make all the stuffed parathas.
- 12. Serve the parathas hot with a side of chutney or yogurt for added flavor.
