Ingredients
- - Fresh Tofu
- 300 G Millet Sattu Regular
- 250 g Spinach
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 200 ml Coconut Milk
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Cumin Seeds 100g
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 1 kg Water Chestnuts
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the millet thoroughly and soak it in water for 10 minutes.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds; let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- 3. Add chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they soften, stirring occasionally.
- 4. Stir in turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt; mix well with the cooked tomatoes.
- 5. Add the soaked millet and water to the pan; cover and cook for 15 minutes until millet is fluffy.
- 6. While millet cooks, wash and chop spinach into smaller pieces.
- 7. In a separate pan, sauté spinach lightly with a splash of coconut milk for 3-4 minutes.
- 8. Cut tofu into bite-sized cubes and gently fold into the spinach mixture, cooking for another 2 minutes.
- 9. Once millet is ready, fluff it with a fork and divide it into serving bowls.
- 10. Top the millet with the spinach and tofu mixture, ensuring even distribution.
- 11. Drizzle remaining coconut milk on top for added creaminess and serve warm.
