- 100 g Diet Tofu Masala Tofu
- 200 g Spinach (Palak)
- 50 g Masala Sambhar
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- - Onion-250 Gms
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- 110 g Unpeeled Garlic Cloves
- loose Ginger
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Coriander Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Rinse and soak the millets in water for 20 minutes before cooking.
- 2. Finely chop the onion, tomato, garlic, ginger, and green chilies.
- 3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add cumin seeds; let them crackle for a few seconds.
- 4. Add chopped garlic, ginger, and green chilies; sauté until fragrant.
- 5. Toss in the chopped onion and cook until it turns golden brown.
- 6. Add the tomato and cook until softened, creating a thick base for the masala.
- 7. Mix in turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt; stir well.
- 8. Cut the tofu into cubes and gently fold them into the masala mixture.
- 9. Add the spinach leaves and cook until wilted, stirring occasionally.
- 10. Pour water into the pan to create a light gravy; simmer for 5 minutes.
- 11. In a separate pot, boil the soaked millets until tender, then drain excess water.
