Ingredients
- - Tong Garden Cheddar N Jalapeno Chickpeas
- - Tomato Ketchup
- - Fresh Tofu
- - Foxtail Millet Flour
- - Red Onion Powder 50gm
- - Coconut Oil
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 45 g Garam Masala
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. Rinse and soak foxtail millet for 10 minutes and drain the water.
- 2. Heat coconut oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown, about 4 minutes.
- 4. Stir in turmeric powder, chili powder, and garam masala, cooking for 1 minute.
- 5. Add diced tomatoes and cook until soft and pulpy, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.
- 6. Add cooked chickpeas to the pan and mix well with the spices and tomato base.
- 7. In a separate pan, lightly pan-fry cubed tofu until golden on all sides, about 4 minutes.
- 8. Add soaked millet to the chickpea mixture and pour in 250ml of water.
- 9. Cover the pan and simmer until the millet is fully cooked and water is absorbed, approximately 15 minutes.
- 10. Gently fold in the pan-fried tofu and adjust salt to taste.
- 11. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving.
