Ingredients
- 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
- 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
- 200 ml Sesame Oil
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Garlic
- 1 bunch Spring Onion
- 1 kg Rice
- 50 g White Sesame Seeds
- 1pc Watermelon
- 50 g Black Pepper
- 100 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes and pat dry to remove excess moisture.
- 2. In a bowl, mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry and toss tofu cubes to coat evenly.
- 3. Heat sesame oil in a pan and fry tofu cubes until golden brown on all sides; remove and set aside.
- 4. Add finely chopped ginger and garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- 5. Slice bell peppers into thin strips and add them to the pan; cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.
- 6. Pour soy sauce and sprinkle black pepper over the vegetables, mixing well to coat them evenly.
- 7. Return fried tofu to the pan and gently mix with the vegetables; cook for another 2 minutes.
- 8. Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan for a minute and mix them into the cooked rice.
- 9. Serve the tofu and bell pepper stir-fry over the sesame rice, garnished with chopped spring onions.
