Ingredients
- 1 kg Rice
- 250 g French Beans
- 500g Lemongrass
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Salt
- 1 l Soyabean Oil
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the red lentils in water for 20 minutes, then drain.
- 2. Cook the rice with 300ml water until fluffy, and set aside.
- 3. Finely chop the garlic, ginger, and lemongrass, ensuring a fragrant base.
- 4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté garlic, ginger, and lemongrass for 1 minute.
- 5. Add the soaked lentils and stir for 2 minutes to coat them with flavors.
- 6. Add chopped carrots and green beans, cooking for 5 minutes until tender.
- 7. Mix soy sauce, chili flakes, and salt, then pour it over the stir-fry.
- 8. Stir everything well and let it cook for another 5 minutes on medium heat.
- 9. Plate the rice and serve the lentil stir-fry on top or alongside.
- 10. Garnish with extra chili flakes if desired before serving.
