Ingredients
- 1 piece Banana
- 50 g White Sesame Seeds
- 100 g Coconut Shredded
- 500G Rice Flour
- 200 g Table Salt
- 100 g Baking Powder
- 500G Madhur Sugar
- 500 Ml Champion Oil
Instructions
- 1. Peel and cut the bananas. For plantains, cut them crosswise into three equal sections, then slice each section horizontally into four pieces. For namwa bananas, peel and cut them into ¼-inch thick pieces lengthwise. Set the banana slices aside.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of rice flour, ½ cup of Madhur Sugar, ½ teaspoon of baking powder, and a pinch of table salt. Mix the dry ingredients well to ensure even distribution.
- 3. Gradually add water to the dry mixture while stirring continuously to form a thick, smooth batter that can coat the banana slices evenly.
- 4. Add 1 ½ cups of white sesame seeds to the batter and mix well. Ensure the sesame seeds are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- 5. Heat Champion Oil in a deep frying pan or cauldron over medium heat until it reaches approximately 350°F (175°C).
- 6. Dip each banana slice into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated, and carefully drop it into the hot oil. Fry the banana slices in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
- 7. Fry the banana slices for 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crisp on both sides. Remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- 8. Once all the banana slices are fried, transfer them to a serving plate. Garnish with Mona Dry Fruit Mix for added flavor and texture. Serve the fried bananas hot and enjoy!
