Ingredients
- 200 gm Salmon
- - Dark Soy Sauce-90 GM
- 100 g Dabur Honey
- - Rice Vinegar
- 110 g Unpeeled Garlic Cloves
- 100 g Catch Ginger Paste
- 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
- 1 ltr Anveshan Cold Pressed Black Sesame Oil
- - Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- 300 G Assorted Chilli Pepper Sb Shichimi Tougarashi
- 25 g Whole Black Pepper
- - Rock Salt
- 50 g Whole Farm Premium White Sesame Seeds (Polished)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the salmon fillets and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- 2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, grated garlic, and ginger paste to prepare the teriyaki glaze.
- 3. Heat a pan over medium heat and sear the salmon fillets for 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- 4. Pour the teriyaki glaze over the salmon in the pan and cook for 5 minutes, basting frequently until the glaze thickens.
- 5. Rinse the 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- 6. Add the rice and water to a pot, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- 7. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and stir in sesame oil, white sesame seeds, and rock salt.
- 8. Heat a separate pan and sauté Frozen Mixed Vegetables with Assorted Chilli Pepper Sb Shichimi Tougarashi and black pepper for 5 minutes.
- 9. Plate the sesame rice in a bowl or plate as the base of the dish.
- 10. Place the glazed salmon fillets on top of the rice, allowing the teriyaki sauce to drizzle slightly over the rice.
- 11. Arrange the sautéed vegetables beside the salmon and rice for a colorful presentation.
- 12. Garnish the dish with a sprinkle of white sesame seeds for added texture and flavor.
