  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 500 g Suji
  • 250 g Carrot
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • - Green Peas
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat a tawa or skillet on medium heat and dry roast the semolina for 3-4 minutes until it turns light golden and aromatic. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same tawa, heat ghee or oil. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, letting them splutter. Then add curry leaves and green chili, sautéing for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and mushy.
  4. 4. Add the green peas and diced carrots, cooking for 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala, mixing well.
  5. 5. Gradually add the roasted semolina while stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Cook for 1-2 minutes to combine the flavors.
  6. 6. Add 2 cups of hot water to the mixture, stirring constantly. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes until the semolina absorbs the liquid and reaches a soft, fluffy consistency.
