Ingredients
- 500 g Poha
- 100 g Oats Jumbo
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 250 ml Olive Oil
- 100 g Salt
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the poha in a sieve under cold water for 30 seconds, then let it drain completely. Mix the oats with the poha and set aside.
- 2. Heat oil in a tawa or large skillet over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, allowing them to splutter for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add curry leaves, chopped onion, and green chili to the pan. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onions turn translucent.
- 4. Stir in the chopped tomato and cook for another 2-3 minutes until softened. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt, mixing well.
- 5. Add the poha and oats mixture to the pan, stirring gently to combine with the spices and vegetables. Cook for 3-4 minutes to heat through.
- 6. Turn off the heat, drizzle lemon juice over the dish, and sprinkle chopped coriander leaves for garnish.
