Ingredients

  • 500 g Poha
  • 100 g Oats Jumbo
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 250 ml Olive Oil
  • 100 g Salt
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the poha in a sieve under cold water for 30 seconds, then let it drain completely. Mix the oats with the poha and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a tawa or large skillet over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, allowing them to splutter for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add curry leaves, chopped onion, and green chili to the pan. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onions turn translucent.
  4. 4. Stir in the chopped tomato and cook for another 2-3 minutes until softened. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt, mixing well.
  5. 5. Add the poha and oats mixture to the pan, stirring gently to combine with the spices and vegetables. Cook for 3-4 minutes to heat through.
  6. 6. Turn off the heat, drizzle lemon juice over the dish, and sprinkle chopped coriander leaves for garnish.
