- 1 kg Fish Fillets
- 100 g Tamarind Paste
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Orika Big Mustard Seeds
- 50 g Pluckk Organic Curry Leaves
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- - KATDARE BLACK PEPPER POWDER 12GM
- 850 g Sundrop Heart+ Blended Cooking Oil
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Wash and pat dry the fish fillets; ensure they are free from excess moisture.
- 2. Marinate the fish with turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt; let it rest for 10 minutes.
- 3. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds; let them crackle before adding curry leaves.
- 4. Sauté minced garlic and ginger until fragrant, followed by adding sliced onions and green chilies.
- 5. Cook onions until golden brown, then add chopped tomatoes; stir and cook until softened.
- 6. Add tamarind paste, coriander powder, and a sprinkle of black pepper; mix well and cook the mixture for 2 minutes.
- 7. Pour water into the pan and bring it to a simmer to create a tangy base for the stir-fry.
