Ingredients

  • 250 g Spinach
  • 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
  • 500 g Onion
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the soy chunks in warm water for 10 minutes and drain them well.
  2. 2. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them sizzle.
  3. 3. Add finely chopped onions, garlic, ginger, and green chilies, sautéing until golden brown.
  4. 4. Stir in turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt, cooking for 1 minute.
  5. 5. Pour in tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
  6. 6. Add the drained soy chunks and mix well to coat them with the spices.
  7. 7. Pour in water and let it simmer for 10 minutes until the soy chunks absorb the flavors.
  8. 8. Add chopped spinach and cook for another 5 minutes until wilted.
  9. 9. Adjust seasoning and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
