Ingredients
- 250 g Spinach
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
- 500 g Onion
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 250g Green Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Jeera
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Soak the soy chunks in warm water for 10 minutes and drain them well.
- 2. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them sizzle.
- 3. Add finely chopped onions, garlic, ginger, and green chilies, sautéing until golden brown.
- 4. Stir in turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt, cooking for 1 minute.
- 5. Pour in tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
- 6. Add the drained soy chunks and mix well to coat them with the spices.
- 7. Pour in water and let it simmer for 10 minutes until the soy chunks absorb the flavors.
- 8. Add chopped spinach and cook for another 5 minutes until wilted.
- 9. Adjust seasoning and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
- 10. Serve hot with your favorite bread or as a standalone dish.
