Ingredients

  • 200 g Itc Master Chef Medium Prawns Peeled & Deveined (Frozen)
  • 250 ml Real Thai Unsweetened Coconut Milk
  • 1 kg Rice
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • loose Ginger
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 50 g Pluckk Organic Curry Leaves
  • 850 g Sundrop Heart+ Blended Cooking Oil
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 10 minutes before cooking.
  2. 2. Heat a pan with 1 tablespoon of oil and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
  3. 3. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and curry leaves to the pan, cooking for about a minute until aromatic.
  4. 4. Stir in the pureed tomato, turmeric, red chili powder, and coriander powder, cooking until the oil separates.
  5. 5. Pour in the coconut milk and water, then bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  6. 6. Add the cleaned prawns to the gravy, cooking for 6-8 minutes until they turn pink and are fully cooked.
