Tangy Mutton Keema-Stuffed Bell Peppers recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Bell Peppers
  • 500 g Onion
  • - Tomato Ketchup
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • 100 g Salt
  • - Coriander Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 180°C and lightly grease a baking tray with oil.
  2. 2. Slice the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes inside.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the onions until golden brown.
  4. 4. Add garlic, ginger, and green chili, cooking for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. 5. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt, cooking until the tomatoes soften.
  6. 6. Add the mutton keema to the pan and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until fully cooked.
  7. 7. Mix in garam masala and fresh coriander leaves, then remove the pan from heat.
  8. 8. Stuff the prepared bell peppers with the cooked mutton keema mixture, pressing lightly to pack it in.
  9. 9. Place the stuffed bell peppers on the baking tray and bake for 15 minutes until the peppers are soft and lightly charred.
  10. 10. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve hot with a sprinkle of fresh coriander.
