Ingredients

- 1 Piece Yellow Bell Pepper (Haladi Dappa Menasinakaayi)
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- - Onion-250 Gms
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- loose Ginger
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
- 250 ml Keya Lemon Juice
- 1 pc (1 L) So Good High Protein Soy Plant Based Beverage - 1 L
- 910 g Saffola Gold Corn & Rice Bran Refined Blended Cooking Oil (1 Ltr)
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the masoor dal in water for 15 minutes, then drain the water completely.
- 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them crackle for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add finely chopped onions, garlic, and ginger to the pan and sauté until golden brown.
- 4. Stir in chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and cook until the tomatoes are soft and the spices are aromatic.
- 5. Add the soaked masoor dal and 300ml water to the pan, then simmer for 15-20 minutes until the dal is cooked and the mixture thickens.
- 6. Add salt, lemon juice, and chopped fresh coriander leaves to the cooked dal and mix well.
- 7. Cut off the tops of the bell peppers and remove the seeds carefully, ensuring they remain intact for stuffing.
- 8. Preheat a large skillet or pan on low heat and grease it with 1 tablespoon oil.
- 9. Stuff the cooked masoor dal mixture into the hollow bell peppers, packing it tightly.
- 10. Place the stuffed bell peppers in the greased pan, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
- 11. Add 100ml of So Good High Protein Soy Beverage to the pan and let the peppers simmer for 5 more minutes.
- 12. Carefully transfer the stuffed bell peppers to serving plates and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
