Ingredients

  • 250 g Tendercuts Basa Boneless Fillet F&S
  • 1 kg Rice
  • 100g Greek Yogurt
  • 250 ml Keya Lemon Juice
  • 100 g Catch Garlic Paste
  • 100 g Catch Ginger Paste
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 50 g Everest Cumin Powder
  • 100 g Everest Garam Masala Powder
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
  • - Onion-250 Gms
  • 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the fish fillets and pat them dry before cutting into bite-sized chunks.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, garlic paste, ginger paste, red chili powder, turmeric, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt to create the marinade.
  3. 3. Coat the fish chunks with the marinade and set aside to marinate for 20 minutes.
  4. 4. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak in water for 10 minutes, then drain.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a pan, add sliced onions, and sauté until golden brown.
  6. 6. Add chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until the mixture turns into a thick paste.
  7. 7. Mix in turmeric, red chili powder, and garam masala, stirring well for even seasoning.
  8. 8. Add rice to the pan and sauté for 2 minutes to coat it with the masala mixture.
