- 10 pcs Prawns
Instructions
- 1. Clean and devein the prawns thoroughly under running water.
- 2. In a bowl, mix hung curd, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt.
- 3. Add the prawns to the marinade and coat them evenly; let them rest for 20 minutes.
- 4. While the prawns marinate, rinse the basmati rice under cold water until clear and set aside.
- 5. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cardamom, and cloves; sauté until aromatic.
- 6. Add rinsed rice to the pan, stir gently, and pour in water; season with salt and cook until rice is tender.
- 7. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C for 5 minutes.
- 8. Arrange the marinated prawns in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even cooking.
- 9. Once done, remove the prawns from the air fryer and transfer to a plate.
- 10. Fluff up the cooked rice with a fork and plate it alongside the tandoori prawns.
