- 300 g Nutrich Chicken Thigh Boneless
- - Milky Mist Skyr Plain Yogurt
- 250 ml Keya Lemon Juice
- 100 g Catch Garlic Paste
- 100 g Catch Ginger Paste
- - Suhana Dal Makhani Spice Mix 50g Pouch
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 52 g Paprika Powder
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 1 kg Rice
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- - Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- 850 g Sundrop Heart+ Blended Cooking Oil
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.
- 2. Prepare the marinade by combining yogurt, lemon juice, garlic paste, ginger paste, Suhana Dal Makhani Spice Mix, turmeric powder, paprika, and salt.
- 3. Coat the chicken thoroughly with the marinade and let it rest for at least 15 minutes.
- 4. Heat a pan on medium flame, add cooking oil, and sear the marinated chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.
- 5. Rinse the rice under cold water and soak it for 10 minutes to remove excess starch.
- 6. In a pot, heat oil and toast the cumin seeds until aromatic. Add the soaked rice and mix well.
- 7. Add 320 ml of water to the rice, season with salt, and cook covered on low heat until tender and fluffy.
- 8. Steam the frozen mixed vegetables in a separate pan until soft but still vibrant in color.
