Ingredients
- 3 pcs Cucumber Green
- 50 g Chukde Clove Whole
- 250 ml Dabur Hommade Lemon Juice (Bottle)
- 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)
- 40 g Orika True Cinnamon Stick
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 500 g Whole Farm Grocery Raisins 500 G
Instructions
- 1. Soak the cucumbers in lime water for 24 hours, then rinse and soak in clear water for 3 hours to remove excess lime.
- 2. In a large pot, combine 2 cups of white vinegar and 5 cups of sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- 3. Place 1 cinnamon stick, 1/3 tsp clove, and 1 tsp salt in a piece of cheesecloth and tie it securely. Add this spice bundle to the vinegar and sugar mixture.
- 4. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- 5. Add the soaked cucumbers to the boiling mixture and remove from heat. Let the cucumbers soak in the mixture overnight to absorb the flavors.
- 6. The next day, bring the mixture with the cucumbers to a boil again and cook for 30 minutes.
- 7. Add 1 cup of raisins to the pot and boil for an additional 5 minutes.
- 8. Carefully pack the hot mixture into sterilized jars, ensuring the cucumbers and raisins are evenly distributed. Seal the jars tightly.
- 9. Allow the jars to cool to room temperature, then chill before serving.
