Ingredients

  • 3 pcs Cucumber Green
  • 50 g Chukde Clove Whole
  • 250 ml Dabur Hommade Lemon Juice (Bottle)
  • 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)
  • 40 g Orika True Cinnamon Stick
  • 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
  • 500 g Whole Farm Grocery Raisins 500 G

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the cucumbers in lime water for 24 hours, then rinse and soak in clear water for 3 hours to remove excess lime.
  2. 2. In a large pot, combine 2 cups of white vinegar and 5 cups of sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  3. 3. Place 1 cinnamon stick, 1/3 tsp clove, and 1 tsp salt in a piece of cheesecloth and tie it securely. Add this spice bundle to the vinegar and sugar mixture.
  4. 4. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5. Add the soaked cucumbers to the boiling mixture and remove from heat. Let the cucumbers soak in the mixture overnight to absorb the flavors.
  6. 6. The next day, bring the mixture with the cucumbers to a boil again and cook for 30 minutes.
  7. 7. Add 1 cup of raisins to the pot and boil for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. 8. Carefully pack the hot mixture into sterilized jars, ensuring the cucumbers and raisins are evenly distributed. Seal the jars tightly.
  9. 9. Allow the jars to cool to room temperature, then chill before serving.
