- loose Ginger
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 100 g Tamarind Paste
- 250 g Tendercuts Basa Boneless Fillet F&S
- 100 g Dabur Honey
- - Dark Soy Sauce-90 GM
- - EVEREST DRY GINGER POWDER 50GM
- - Rock Salt
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the fish fillets under cold running water and pat them dry with a clean towel.
- 2. In a small bowl, mix tamarind pulp, honey, soy sauce, ginger powder, and rock salt to create a marinade.
- 3. Coat the fish fillets evenly with the marinade and let them rest for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- 4. Meanwhile, rinse the rice thoroughly and set it aside to soak for 5 minutes.
- 5. Grate the fresh turmeric and set it aside for later use in the rice preparation.
- 6. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a deep pan, then add the grated turmeric and stir for 1 minute.
- 7. Add the soaked rice and water to the pan, bring it to a boil, then cover and simmer on low heat until fully cooked.
