Ingredients
- - DELI QUINOA/BASMATI RICE 1KG
- - Milky Mist Skyr Plain Yogurt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 50 g Everest Cumin Powder
- - Coriander Powder
- 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
- 100 g Catch Super Garam Masala
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- - Rock Salt
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 1 pack (200 g) Godrej Real Good Medium Prawns Peeled & Deveined (Freshly Frozen)
- 100 g Lemon
Instructions
- 1. Wash and clean the prawns thoroughly, ensuring they are deveined and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- 2. In a bowl, mix yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, and Grand Masala Garam Masala to create the tandoori marinade.
- 3. Add the prawns to the marinade, coat them evenly, and let them sit for 20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- 4. Rinse the basmati rice under running water until the water runs clear, then soak the rice for 15 minutes.
- 5. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan. Add the soaked rice along with 300 ml water and cook until the rice is tender and fluffy.
- 6. Once the rice is cooked, mix in lemon juice, turmeric powder, and rock salt to give it a zesty flavor. Stir gently and keep aside.
- 7. Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
