Instructions

  1. 1. Wash, peel, and thinly slice the carrots, radish, and chayote squash into small matchstick-sized pieces.
  2. 2. Mince the garlic and ginger finely, and set them aside for sautéing.
  3. 3. Cook the udon noodles as per the package instructions, drain, and set aside to cool slightly.
  4. 4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then add the prawns and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
  5. 5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced ginger, and Chinese Five Spice to create the glaze.
  6. 6. Pour the glaze over the cooked prawns in the skillet, toss well, and cook for another 2 minutes until sticky and caramelized.
  7. 7. In another pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat, then add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  8. 8. Add the chopped vegetables to the pan and stir-fry for 5 minutes until slightly softened but still crisp.
