Ingredients

  • 20G Curry Leaves
  • 200 g Paneer
  • - Grated Coconut
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 250g Ginger
  • - Mustard Seeds
  • 500 ml Water
  • 500 Gms Rice Flour
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 10G Salt

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the dumplings by mixing crumbled chhena, rice flour, turmeric powder, ginger, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Add water gradually to form a soft dough.
  2. Step 2: Shape the dough into small oval dumplings (muthiyas) and steam them in an air fryer using the steam setting for 15 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Grind soaked mustard seeds, grated coconut, green chilies, and a pinch of turmeric into a smooth paste using a small amount of water.
  4. Step 4: Heat cooking oil in a pan and temper it with curry leaves. Add the mustard-coconut paste and cook on low flame for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
  5. Step 5: Add drumstick stems, water, and salt to the sauce. Cook covered for 15 minutes until the drumsticks are tender.
  6. Step 6: Serve the steamed chhena muthiyas drizzled with the mustard-coconut sauce, hot and fresh.
